Palaruvi in Malayalam literally means a stream of milk – a local name allocated to the splendid waterfall. As the name suggests, you will find the waterfall to be a cascade of milk bursting amidst the high rocks of Kollam forest. Palaruvi is among the highest waterfalls in Kerala and the 32nd highest in India. The total height of the waterfall is 91 metres or 299 feet.
